Paris, France

France was the first country we visited...Paris, France to be exact, on our 2019 Bestie's European Vacay. Paris is, well....Paris.  I feel so blessed that I finally got to visit but it didn't live up to all the hype that I had always heard.  It wasn't the easiest place to get around!  It was also right after Notre Dame had burned, so we didn't get to be near it at all.

We enjoyed our hotel, and everyone there was most helpful...and though contrary to what I've always heard, all of the people we encountered (with the exception of one man at Moulin Rouge) were very nice and helpful.  However, the hotel had no AC but had great doors to a small balcony with a nice view.  Our first night, we opened those doors and were serenaded as we enjoyed macarons and wine!  Very Parisian!

I must also mention that our shower was lacking...just a little...ok...A LOT!  It didn't have a door or a curtain...just a half shield, which led to a small river in the floor after a shower.

The Paris Flea Market was high on our list...we chose the Vanves Flea. It did not disappoint!  We had already researched it, and knew all the tips and tricks that might come our way.  It was a beautiful day, and we came away with lots of beautiful treasures.  I was particularly proud of my loot!  lol

It was a nice little stroll to L'anvers du Decor, on our first night in Paris. The dinner was delicious, the wine was wonderful, but the apple tart for dessert stole the show! We passed the Theatre De L'Atelier on our walk back.

When in Paris...one MUST have a night out at Moulin Rouge!

Obviously, you can't take pictures inside, but here are a few snaps before me entered.

I must say...It was SPECTACULAR!!!

LOTS MORE TO COME!
